As you can see from the picture below the Free Church is located in the centre of St. Ives. The present building was erected in 1865 and was extensively refurbished in 1979. The Free Church is more than just a place of worship, It is used as a centre for the community and contains a number of meeting halls and a small chapel for private prayer. The shop, "Just Sharing", sells Fair Trade items from all over the world an example of which is the Sun-dried Banana Chips (the webmaster favourite!) and "Tookey's Coffee Bar" make it a welcome place to pause whilst wandering (being towed by my wife!) around the shops in St. Ives.
