The Holt Island Nature Reserve represents 7 acres of peace and tranquillity right on the edge of St Ives. The island in the River Great Ouse is situated very close to All Saint's Parish Church (C of E) and is open to the public most weekends and Bank Holiday Mondays.

In 2007 a new representative group of "Friends of Holt Island Nature Reserve" is being formed to contribute to the management of the island for the community. If you are interested in joining this group then contact Bridget Halford, the Countryside Ranger, on 07917 554057 for more details.
