This is a legally protected building of historic significance

This location is listed Grade 2 by English Heritage

Never likely to do anything by halves the Victorians who designed and built the Livestock Market in St Ives gave it a set of gatehouses that would proudly adourn a country estate. Each carries the Armorial Bearings of the Borough of St Ives on three sides of the pediment balustrade.

Once used as on-site offices for the administration of the livestock market itself they now used as offices for the local bus company and the street market supervisor.
