The Mayor any Mayoress of St Ives
Councillor Douglas Dew and Mrs Julie Dew
held a
CIVIC BALL
at the Burgess Hall on Friday 1st March 2002
in aid of the Mayor's Charities
The event was attended by hundreds of people and many of the Mayors and Consorts from the surrounding towns taking the Burgess Hall in St. Ives to capacity. After Dinner the Loyal Toast was proposed by Kevin Reynolds, Chairman of Huntingdon District Council, on behalf of the Mayor, Douglas Dew.
The Mayor then thanked everyone for their support in his year of office and for helping to make the Ball a success
