We're excited to announce that our new 2015/16 programme is now available! We're passionate about providing everyone in and around St Ives with the widest possible range of learning activities, and this year we have over 50 NEW courses to choose from.
Over 1100 adult learners enjoyed our part-time courses last year and we hope that you will decide to join them during the coming year. There are many valuable and interesting courses on offer, as evening classes, daytime classes and as part of our Saturday workshops. This is a great opportunity to come and try something new.
Our NEW courses this year include Website in a Day, Crochet, Sourdough, Chocoholics, Seven Ways to Wellness, Paranormal Investigation, Bridge, Sleep-Well Workshop & Polish Language.
Full details of all of our courses can be found on our website www.aclearning.org.uk and bookings can be made now. Our office is open Monday - Thursday 10am - 2pm and again from 6.30pm-9.30pm Monday to Wednesday. Our office will close for the summer holidays on Wednesday 22nd July and will reopen at 10am on Monday 7th September. You can still view and book all our courses online during this time.
You may have noticed that we have had a few problems with the website over the last 48 hours culminating with a total failure of the main hard drive in our server but thanks to some stirling efforts of our ISP, Fast2host Ltd, they have not only got us back online but recovered all our data back to the moment of the failure.
Many thanks to Russell Lyon and the team at Fast2Hosts Ltd.

If you have lost a two-person tent near Hill Rise in St Ives, then contact me on email@example.com with a descrtiption and I will explain how you can get it back. I have tied it down before it was blown into the road and potentially caused a serious accident. The Police have been informed and you will need Photo ID to collect but you are not in any trouble, at least not now.
Adding a new section about Lancelot "Capability" Brown, landscape designer and former Lord of the Manor of Fenstanton and Hilton
We continue to work on upgrading the websites to the latest standard so they work well with the currently popular mobile devices like Smart Phones and Tablets. We have now started rolling out the new functionality to all our 60+ Huntingdonshire websites, like this one at Abbots Ripton.
We are still working on upgrading the websites to the latest standard so they work well with the currently popular mobile devices like Smart Phones and Tablets. You will begin to see the changes over the next month or so as we apply the new code a lot of which is being tested on the St Ives website which you can visit if you follow the link below.
Don't forget to follow us on Twitter and keep up with all the major things, and some of the smaller ones too, going on right across Huntingdonshire and into our neighbouring districts.
If you are doing something interesting in Huntingdonshire and you Tweet about it, copy us in @HuntsWeb and we will probably re-tweet your message
It's been a busy time as we figure out some more alterations to our websites to support the rapidly increasing use of touch screen mobile devices and devices of varying screen size.
So expect some more significant changes over the coming weeks especially to the section user menus like the example on the link below. We will be testing the use of the new style menus for a little while before rolling them out to all our Huntingdonshire websites.
Thank you to everyone who uses our websites, we wich you all a happy Christmas and hope you have a prosperous New Year.
