The view of what will be the IWA Festival and Boat Show Car Park with space for Camping and Caravans in the right distance
This trailer accompanies the IWA show staff around the country to various events and is full of all the bit and pieces needed to put together an event like the IWA National Festival and Boat Show. I was reliably informed that it was "empty" when I took these pictures because most of the stuff was in use.
There is a large contingent from the Waterway Recovery Group providing the muscle to put the festival together. They have their own compound, cafe, camp site and control centre on the festival site.
This is another important part of the festival providing power both 440 and 240 volts safely around the festival site and also providing communications. The site has both radio and land line communications with 4 incoming telephone lines and a broadband link for the internet and email to 30+ extensions
Having all this equipment about has another risk from either vandals or those with sticky fingers. Well, forget it. The site is protected a 7 foot perimeter fence, Closed circuit TV and an army of security guards from INTA Guarding Ltd

The images above form part of a photographic diary of the activity and events during the IWA National Festival and Boat Show held in St Ives in 2007
