Added a new section about the River Great Ouse and a number of interesting old pictures of the river around the town, some courtesy of the Norris Museum. Also added a location map for the 2007 IWA River Festival and Boat Show being held in the town in August

Added a copy of the 1728 Parish Map drawn by Edward Pettis, the original now in the care of the Norris Museum PLUS a new interpretation of the 1728 map in colour.

New style access menus are being installed on the site to facilitate easier access. The UK Government has passed legislation to ensure that all persons have access to services regardless of ability. In an effort to ensure our town website is equally available to all we are voluntarily following the same government recommendations for its own official sites.

August 2004

Website has been rebuilt with new Cascading Style Sheets and a new colour scheme. It was quite a big job so it has taken a while!

A complete A to Z of all the business and commercial organisations in St Ives has now been published to the site

January 2004

A new section  added called "Eat, Drink and Rest" linking and providing details of all the Hotels, Guest Houses, Public Houses, Restaurants, Take Away's, Cafes, Bistros and Sandwich Bars in St Ives. This replaces the old section within General Businesses.

5th October 2003

The Retail (Shopping) and Business section of the site have been redesigned and updated with internet links to many companies who have premises in St Ives including some of the UK's premier retailers who do not. User may purchase online from many of these links and have the goods delivered direct to their door.

The Event Diary has now been linked to that of the surrounding towns of Huntingdon, St. Neots, Godmanchester and Ramsey, you can now find details of everything we know is going on in the whole of Huntingdonshire.

7th September 2003

A brand new section detailing the Listed Buildings in St Ives has been created and the first of the major buildings have been added to the database. This will take a little while to complete (some of them are very long!)

30th August 2003

The site has been moved on to a new server and the back ground technology has been upgraded. Regular users will note that the database functions are now considerably faster.
