There are loads of things for a visitor to do in St Ives. If you're into history there are over 70 listed buildings ranging from the famous "Chapel on the Bridge" to the remains of the Barn that was part of the old Priory thought to be the site of the discovery of the bones of St. Ivo after whom the town was named.

If you visit St Ives on a Bank Holiday then you'll witness one of the largest regular street markets in the United Kingdom, be warned though that Parking will be at a premium at these times!

For three days after Michaelmas each year the town is turned over for the modern equivalent of the Mediaeval street fair that has now been going on for over 800 years and is one of the few surviving street fairs in England.

Just before the schools break up for the summer the town holds the St Ives Carnival for two days and in the summer there is a whole week of the St Ives Music and Art Festival.

We hope you enjoy your stay in St Ives
